TRAFFIC '19 INDEPENDENT STUDY GROUP

 

Built with lead designer, Peter Walhout, design consultant Shannon Starkey, and group members Jacob Marshall, Jordan Levine, Kennedy Marr, Jana Hunter, Daniel Reiling, and Alyssa Gehb.

The Pergola is a set of modular urban furniture built in steel and tile, that was purchased by Cafeina Cafe, a local coffee shop in San Diego. It was designed with the intent of creating an intimate social space within a larger public one, with considerations to climate and mobility.
